Off-Grid Security and Monitoring Systems

Procom offers off-grid security camera and monitoring systems designed to protect valuable assets at remote oil and gas sites where utility power and terrestrial communications are unavailable. These systems operate independently using solar power and battery storage and communicate exclusively through satellite connectivity, ensuring reliable coverage in isolated and hard-to-reach locations.

Each system is engineered to support asset protection, loss prevention, and risk mitigation. Camera configurations may include fixed cameras, PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras, which allow for remote adjustment of viewing direction and zoom, thermal cameras, and low-light cameras. Advanced features such as auto-tracking (camera follow) can be deployed to automatically track movement within a defined area, improving incident visibility and evidence capture. Time-lapse recording is available to document site activity, construction progress, or operational changes over extended periods. All equipment is selected and positioned based on site-specific risk assessments, historical loss data, and operational exposure.

Security system design may follow a deterrence-focused approach, utilizing visible cameras, signage,  and strategic placement to discourage theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access before incidents occur. In contrast, a covert or stealth monitoring approach uses concealed or low-visibility camera placement to discreetly observe activity without alerting potential intruders, allowing for evidence collection, pattern identification, and targeted response. These approaches can be deployed independently or combined within the same site to balance prevention and documentation objectives

These capabilities support proactive security response and provide reliable documentation for incident review, law enforcement support, and insurance loss claims.
